Emma graduated from Columbia College in 2023 as an Earth Science major at interested in clouds, climate and atmosphere dynamics, and the nuts-and-bolts of climate modeling. She has experience applying machine learning techniques to data processing and climate modeling, on topics ranging from the convective organization of clouds to modeling surface ocean dissolved carbon dioxide. She with CREW on her senior thesis in which she assessed the performance of clear-sky fluxes in parameterized radiation models.

Emma is currently a graduate student in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Hawaii
