Clare E. Singer

Postdocs

I am currently a NOAA Climate & Global Change Postdoc working with Robert Pincus at LDEO and Yi Ming at Boston College. I’m broadly interested in the role of clouds in the climate system. Currently, I study Earth's energy budget and how clouds interact with large-scale atmospheric circulations to shape hemispheric albedo asymmetries. I use global climate models, pencil-and-paper theory, high-resolution large-eddy models, and satellite observations in my research. In my free time, you can find me exploring the food scene of NYC or escaped to the mountains to hike/ski.
