Sarika de Bruyn is LEAP's manager of data and computing. A recent graduate of Columbia University, where she studied computer science with a focus on intelligent systems and climate technology, she is interested in using machine learning, data science, and computational tools to better understand the Earth system and develop climate solutions. Her recent work has focused on renewable energy forecasting, ocean mixing parameterizations, and computational infrastructure for climate science research.
